When we look at the map of Europe, we can see that Slovakia is in the very centre of it. As a matter of fact, the geographical centre of Europe can be found in Slovakia, nearby the old mining town of Kremnica.The country’s inherited character has shaped its rich history. A number of civilisation layers have been laid down in the territory of the present-day Slovak Republic. Especially fascinating is the touch of the old Celts – in the 1st century BC, there was a Celtic Oppidum in the area of the capital city Bratislava, a settlement where the coins of Celtic Princes Biatec and Nonnos were minted.

Bratislava is one of the youngest capitals in Europe and few people know that during the time it was called Pressburg or Pozsony it was one of the most important cities in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It was a mixing pot of various nations and nationalities who lived together in peace and harmony. There is a saying that a true ‘Pressburgian’ speaks four languages: Slovak, German, Hungarian and Mishmash. Even as recently as the 1980s you might hear how older Pressburgians in the street would say two words in German, two in Hungarian and two in Slovak all in the space of one sentence. That is what we mean by “mishmash”.

Finally our country can be proud that managed to organize a competition on a world level. Our contry will draw the attention of the whole world, thank to this competition of our beloved pets. This is the reason why we came up with the idea of promoting the Slovak breeders and exhibitors to present on our website.
Certainly this is the one of the best ways how to promote yourself to the world.
Annually there is more than 20 000 dogs taking part in the worlds exhibition and expectedly in Bratislava this number can even raise to 25 000 dogs.
It means, that its not only the exhibitors who do attend the exhibitions but also the animal admirers, so the possibility that they will "click" on your pet its very high.
